Get active with CYP!

The ACC Activesmart Rise Up Team Challenge was started in 2011 with the aim to get people active and have some fun post-earthquake. Now in its 3rd year, CYP is getting involved this April 13.

Join up and do the Specialist, Socialiser, Soloist or the Enduro. These are team or individual options of a 2km run/10km bike/2km run duathlon around the Ruapuna raceway. Do a section of the race as a team member or the whole thing (3x if you are keen!) and experience biking around the slick race track! This event is... for everyone, to those who are just off their bike trainer wheels to the pros. A great excuse to catch up with friends or your workmates outside and out of the office/coffee shop.

It will be a fun environment with the music pumping and fancy dress encouraged. There will also be spot prizes at this event.

Provided at least 5 teams sign up (which is easy!), the event director, John Newsom will give CYP a communal area/pit lane garage which offers plenty of space for afterwards/chillibin for the beers etc (BYO).

PLUS receive a 10% discount when you enter in the PROMO CODE: ‘CYP’. Entry prices range from $35 for a single entry to $60 or $90 for team entry.

Perhaps your work might be interested in sponsoring a few teams? (and then work might shout the entry fee) If you enter the team, you can still enjoy the 10% CYP discount. We’re keen to see as many CYP registrations as possible! This event can cater to 1000 participants so don’t hold back!

This event is also very spectator friendly, so if you can’t compete, you can come along and cheer from the side line!
