CYP was established in early 2007 by a group of young Cantabrians that recognised the need for a society dedicated to the cross-pollination of various industry sectors.
Since its inception CYP has grown in size to over 350 members. The CYP committee plans a number of social and business events throughout the year to keep the CYP membership actively involved. Social events range from informal end of month drinks to black tie balls while business events aim to educate and inform our membership on issues relevant to our demographic like how to get ‘financially fit’ to purchase your first home.
As well as our professional sponsors CYP has also established partnerships with the New Zealand Institute of Management (NZIM), New Zealand Institute of Directors (NZIOD) and the Canterbury Employers Chamber of Commerce (CECC).
