CYP in conjunction with Anderson Lloyd invite you to participate in this year's City2Surf. The City2Surf is a fun running and walking event for the serious and the not so serious!!
Anderson Lloyd has kindly offered to put on refreshments to congratulate those CYP members completing the City2Surf and our CYP Executive Committee will be manning the BBQ. Join us at corporate site D6 at the finish line (just look out for the CYP and Anderson Lloyd flags).
The City2Surf consists of a 14km (starting at 9am at Pioneer Stadium's Centennial Park) or a 6km option (starting at 10am at Opawa School) and both finish at the Ferrymead Playing Fields. Registration is only $20.00 and can be purchased online or from Pak'n'Sav...e, New World, Snap Fitness, Smiths City or on the day until 8.45am.
The City2Surf organisers are providing special buses to assist in transport. If you wish to leave your car at the finish, it is suggested that you park your car in the designated car parking at Ferrymead Playing Fields and catch the bus to the starting locations (departing from 7:30am for the 14km 9am start and from 8:30am for the 6km 10am start).
If you wish to leave your car at the start you can catch a bus from Ferrymead back to the start after the event. The bus service is $6.00 and can be pre purchased online or cash on the day.
You are welcome to leave your belongings at the CYP / Anderson Lloyd tent as it will be attended to for the duration of the event. Alternatively the City2Surf organisers provide a clothing truck service which will transport your gear to the finish for collection.
